About the event

Not sure what to plant in your raised bed this season? You’re not alone.

Join us at the McPherson Community Garden for a free, casual workshop focused on what actually grows well here in St. Louis. Local gardeners Claire Linzee and Andy Cross will share tips on what to plant, how deep to sow seeds, and how to space things so your garden has room to thrive.

We’ll start with a quick 20-minute overview, then open it up for questions. Whether you’re brand new or just need a refresher, this is a good chance to learn something useful and talk it through with neighbors.

We’ll also have simple take-home guides on seed spacing and depth, plus free seeds that are well-suited for our area.

If it rains, we’ll meet at 5949 Kingsbury.

Parking is available on Des Peres Avenue.
